Oakville luxury condo project enters receivership
A planned 6-storey, 203-unit condominium project at 85 Bronte Rd. in Oakville has entered receivership. Mortgage holder CMLS Financial Ltd. initiated the court order against the developers. Albert Gelman Inc. is the court-appointed receiver. The receiver now controls the site and its potential sale, leaving the project's future and the status of pre-sale agreements uncertain.
Beedie subsequently retained the team to broker the sale of the industrial condo units. While Beedie has been building industrial projects in the GTA since 2019, BOLT is the first fully self-performed development completed by its in-house construction team, Beedie Construction, instead of outsourcing the developer.
